Caroline began her professional career as a Registered Nurse in Cardiac Critical Care. It was during her initial nursing experience when many of her clients were on ventilators and unable to speak that she often communicated more with family members. Caroline learned the challenges and rewards of helping people though some of their most stressful times.
How It All Started
Caroline began case management for a company in a program called Cancer Care Plus. Caroline found this work highly rewarding. When the company became Medicare certified to admit hospice patients, Caroline was their first hospice nurse. Caroline spent 7 years with this company.
Caroline gained additional experience in case management in mental health and additional clinical experience supervising in a skilled rehabilitation facility. From there, Caroline went back into home care as a clinical supervisor.
Professional Experience
In order to provide the highest standards in care management, Caroline began her private practice in 2011. In 2010, she achieved board certification in Gerontology. She maintained this certification through 2020.
In 2013, Caroline achieved board certification as a Holistic Nurse and maintained this certification through 2023.
Continuing Education
Caroline is devoted to the art and science of nursing. She continues to study and focus on excellence in clinical management. She holds licensure and certifications recognized by the American Holistic Nurses Association in Clinical Aromatherapy, Certified Holistic Stress Management Instructor, Integrative Health, and as a Reiki Practitioner. In addition to comprehensive care planning and management, Caroline focuses on helping environmentally sensitive people maintain their health in the modern world.
